The College has a partnership with three housing agencies that offer housing in traditional German apartment buildings (also known as “Altbau”). The apartments vary in size and features but all of them are conveniently located within walking distance to the campus and markets, cafes, and bakeries. Students also have the option of staying in hostels if they prefer more private accommodation.

In addition to offering housing for the program, these agencies provide other services for students, including help with registering your address and providing you with a key card to access the building and your room. Additionally, each building is staffed with Residential Assistants and has a professional security team that makes rounds at different times throughout the night. Each apartment has a locked entrance and students are encouraged to call the office if they feel unsafe or need assistance.

Public transportation is a great way to get around the city and is often included in the cost of student accommodations. The S-Bahn, which is a light rail, and the U-Bahn underground trains are affordable and well-connected to campus.
